A Good Balance Between Street and Temple Photography
We designed this tour especially for photographers who are looking to practice photography in different environments and who are afraid to be "templed out" if they join our Full day temple tour.
On this photo tour, you’ll get an unique look at daily Cambodian life. We’ll start early at a local monastery to quietly observe and photograph novice monks during their morning rituals—a dynamic experience that changes every day. From there, we’ll dive into the bustling energy of a traditional food market, capturing vivid street scenes, striking local portraits, and the colors of authentic Cambodian fresh products.
Following a mid-day break, we will spend most of the afternoon to Preah Khan—a vast, magnificent 12th-century monastic temple. Often considered by seasoned Angkor photographers as the absolute "must-visit" site, it features exquisite Buddhist and Hindu carvings wrapped in a rich tapestry of algae, lichen, and moss. Tucked within a lush forest, Preah Khan offers a serene, mystical atmosphere where massive tree roots dramatically reclaim crumbling stone ruins. You’ll have ample time to wander its endless corridors and discover quiet, hidden corners. To wrap up the day, I’ll offer several tailored options for your sunset shoot, whether you want to capture the final rays of light or the golden hour glow on ancient sandstone.
