"Fantastic All-Day Bike and Photo Tour"
On January 22nd, 2023 I did a fantastic all-day bike and photo tour through the Archaeological Park of Angkor together with Laurent. The almost new eMTB from Giant was delivered to my hotel the night before so we could get started the next morning. Through Siem Reap we drove along the river on remote and quiet paths towards the temples of Angkor. On small trails we visited Angkor Thom and its gates, Ta Prohm, Bayon and a few lesser-known temples off the tourist track. Laurent showed me the best photo spots, some of which could only be reached on foot or by bike. He explained my camera in detail and how to get the best results. In total we drove about 60 kilometers, but there was still enough time for two coffee/coconut stops and an extensive lunch with great conversations. I can recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get to know Angkor from a different perspective and bring great pictures home with them. Thank you Laurent for a fantastic day.
Thoroughly enjoyed this afternoon
Thoroughly enjoyed this afternoon - sunset tour of countryside with Laurent. My daughter is studying photography and Laurent gave us both some great photography tips we will use forever. We elected to go in a tuk-tuk which was great to be able to chat along the way about the sights. Laurent has a lovely gentle manner and a pleasure to be around. He took us into a school and villages where we could interact freely with the gorgeous children without being too intrusive. We have some brilliant shots from the tour that we will cherish forever. Thoroughly recommend this tour.
"We were lucky to get to the temples before it filled up and I learned so much about the culture but also my camera in one day"
We sadly could only did one day with Laurent and opted for the e- bicycles. I loved the ride through the jungle. We were lucky to get to the temples before it filled up and I learned so much about the culture but also my camera in one day. The experience not only ensured unique photos but the knowledge will be carried to all the photos I take in future. The balance between light would be the theme of our tour. The other theme might be angles and frames. I would strongly recommend this experience as it is a tour without the antics of a staged tour guide. It's like a discovery with all the information as tit bits.
"Ride your e-bike between mystical temples through the jungle"
Wow! We had an unforgettable and beautiful tour on e-bikes with Laurant through the jungle and discovered so many secluded, enchanted and mystical temples away from any tourists. In these magical places, with Laurent's help, we tried many new things with our cameras and got to know them so much better. It was a very special day that we will never forget.Thank you.
"Amazing Photography Tour"
Went on the e-bikes temple tour with my husband while visiting Angkor Wat back in June, and absolutely LOVED this tour! Being on the e-bikes was a great way to get around and go to those off-the-beaten-path places that other tourists typically do not find. We were at temples where we were the only ones there! Laurent was not only very helpful and patient with me with my camera, he also was a great guide. He knew a lot of the history and gave great insight on the area. He helped me understand the basics of my new camera, and also helped me capture some amazing photos. I cannot recommend this tour enough! After visiting the temples, we rode through the countryside to see the "real" Cambodia and saw so many beautiful sights, and took in the sunset. It was a day we will never forget.
